Lars Larson: Politicians defend rioters to the extreme

The Northwest Nonsense

Riots over the weekend put federal buildings at risk in Portland and Eugene and elected Democrat Party city and state officials took the side of the rioters.

Mayor Keith Wilson demanded that law enforcement officers working for Immigrations and Customs Enforcement resign their jobs.

Both Oregon and Washington made a choice to back this nonsense.

There’s a way to avoid it and still stay true to their ridiculous Sanctuary State stance.

Tell citizens they may protest but when they violate the law by blocking streets, local police will clear them out.

That’s not assisting ICE. That’s merely enforcing state and local laws police would enforce anywhere else.

When police agencies and their officers take the side of lawless rioters, they leave ICE with one option…fire the tear gas. Citizens take notice…police officers let some people break the law.

People like Mayor Wilson decry the violent conflicts while creating the conditions that bring the conflict.

We saw what happened to trust fund kid Feckless Ted Wheeler when he took that course and befriended Antifa and BLM. I figure the same fate lies ahead for Mayor Wilson…but only after he’s done more damage to the city of Roses.

That’s the Rose City Rap. Join me at noon on KXL for 4 hours of Honestly provocative talk. I’m Lars Larson
