Sanctuary law allowed child predator release

Oregon Sanctuary Policies Allow Child Predator’s Release

By Taxpayers Association of Oregon Foundation,

Manuel Cruz-Ramirez, an illegal migrant, was arrested by DHS after being charged with rape, purchasing sex with a minor, and sexual abuse in Oregon. He was released under Marion County’s sanctuary policies and he wasn’t referred to immigration officers. Cruz-Ramirez was caught at Portland International Airport using a fraudulent passport. DHS officials criticized sanctuary policies for allowing dangerous criminals to remain in communities. They did provide praise to TSA and CBP for preventing his escape and protecting the public.
