Yesterday, a Marion County judge heard the case to stop the politician’s SB 1599 bill which moved the date of the gas tax referendum from November (as a quarter million people signed) to the May Primary.  The case was made on two fronts, #1 that the Legislature is interfering with the people’s Constitutionally protected referendum process and #2 that the interference has been so speedy that it blocks many people from participating in the voter arguments for the ballot measure.

The judge promised a ruling today — stay tuned.
