The gas tax referendum helped make Oregon history by gathering a quarter million signatures in less than 40 days.

When Oregonians unite they can make the ballot.

Now, we wish to see the Abolish Death Tax make the November 2026 ballot.

The Oregonian cited Oregon as the “worst place to die” because of our costly, punishing death tax.

Oregon’s death tax has the nation’s lowest exemption rate, which means you pay the most in America when your loved ones die and they pass along their estate gifts to you.

The tax is so expensive that grieving sons and daughters are often forced to sell the family home or family restaurant in order to pay the massive tax on it. It is a crying shame that Oregon taxes people for dying.
