Kotek blames gas prices on Trump, bad schools on GOP

When KOIN-TV 6 asked if Governor Kotek is considerign lowering the gas tax like other states, her office replied;

“State budgets and systems can’t take away anymore uncertainty from the Trump administration, and it shouldn’t be up to states to fix the problems that this administration creates”

Then how is it the Iran war only seems to impact West Coast liberal states?

At the same time, Governor Kotek made this statement on Oregon schools:

“While extreme Republicans work to undermine public education and put our students and schools at risk, I will keep fighting to strengthen our schools, support our educators, and build an Oregon where every student has the opportunity to succeed.”
Based on 2023 graduation rates, it seems like Kotek is trying to protect our schools from success.
