Hunt-Fish ban petition (IP 28) fail to make ballot

The petition to ban hunting and fishing (IP #28) has failed the second verification step and will not be on the Oregon November General Election ballot as noted by Willamette Week.

Only 73% of the signatures were valid which zapped their 142,000+ submitted total and the need to obtain 1171,000+ valid signatures of the 142,000.

This is a huge relief for ranchers and farmers in the state who many would have faced extinction or be forced out of the state.
