Rep. Boice: Unite to support Israel

OREGON AND OREGONIANS MUST STAND IN SUPPORT OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE

STAND AGAINST THE HATRED FOR THE NATION OF ISRAEL AND PROTECT WOMENS RIGHTS WORLDWIDE! THE HAMAS SEXUAL TORTURE, VIOLENCE AND ATROCITIES ARE HAPPENING IN OUR WORLD AND ON OUR WATCH! WE MUST BE WARNED OF THE SHORT AND LONG-TERM NEGATIVE IMPACTS FOR OUR CITIZENS. BOICE ASKS – WHERE ARE THE STATE, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL DEFENDERS OF WOMEN?

These are sisters, mothers, daughters and even our grandmothers. No where to be found are the Oregon Women’s Democratic Caucus and Planned Parenthood? Where is the World Health Organization and the National Organization of Women? Their silence is complicity. Meanwhile, many Americans and officials are convinced these wretched Hamas animals and related are coming across our U.S. Southern border perhaps daily as history teaches, their evil could come to America!

Before October 7th our support for the Jewish state was unwavering and must now be even stronger! It is ludicrous to proffer a ceasefire while civilian hostages, including children, languish in tortuous conditions as Hamas inflicts its 6th Century barbarism on its victims. To those who cannot condemn the horror and atrocities of the Hamas evil deeds, there are no words for you other than prayers you will open your eyes and recognize the unspeakable wickedness inflicted 2 months ago and continuing every day since.

We need to bust the myth promulgated recently by former President Barack Obama. His right field bleacher comments equating Antisemitism and Islamophobia are dangerously wrong. Culpability is not mutually exclusive between Israel and those who wish to annihilate the Jewish state. President Obama just plain got it wrong. His lack of understanding on Jewish history is staggering.
Jews represent less than 3% of the American population. The world Jewish population is a mere 16 million. The 40,000 Jews who live in Oregon, mostly in Portland, represent less than 1 percent of our population but the antisemitic hate crimes against them during this last two months have spiked. Those with the loudest voices spewing this abhorrence are few compared to most Oregonians. We must speak out against the greatest smear campaign known to human history; that against the Jewish Country.

We share core values with the Israeli people including common goals: love of freedom, mutual respect and always speaking the truth. Compromising those virtues will result in civilized people forgetting those horrors. Hamas threatens not just Israel. It poses a real danger to Oregon, America, and all civilized people. These proxy terrorists supported by Iran’s mullahs cry out, “From the River to the Sea,” a reference to ridding the Middle East of every Jew, it will be answered with “Never Again.” Not just a shrill cry from the ashes of the Holocaust; it is a divine message from a blessed nation. “Never Again” is a way of life for the Jewish state. Boice respects that, honors that and will do his part as an Oregon State Representative to protect it.
Israel will not falter or fail in its mission of survival. The book of Genesis recognizes Jews as the Chosen People – God stating, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you, I will curse; and all peoples on the earth will be blessed through you.”

Oregonians, please pray for Israel. Failure to understand and wisely respond will have long-term negative consequences for us, our children, and our way of life. Everyone in our state must unite and do anything and everything we can to stop this horrific suffering.

Do what needs to be done, Israel. We understand and fully support you!
