Bentz presents Navy vet with missing medals

One of the privileges I have as a Congressman is recognizing Veterans for their dedicated service to our country.

Today, I had the honor of meeting retired Navy Lieutenant Robert Keys Jr., who bravely served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Sadly, however, Mr. Keys never received his military medals recognizing his service.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC) to obtain his medals and present them to him today.
He is not only a remarkable individual, but he also has a wonderful family. Thank you, Mr. Keys, for your service to our nation.
