Small signs of people not taking it anymore …

Sometimes a bumper sticker is just a bumper sticker, a joke is a joke, and sometimes it tells a bigger story.

Last year, Portland broke a record in traffic deaths, following Portland’s pandemic era scale back in traffic stops in the name of equity.  People do not feel safe on the road.  Then there is the crime wave we just experienced.  From this toxic stew comes bumper stickers like this one, found outside Portland, called “If you hit me with my kids in the car, I’ll whoop your ass ’till the cops come.”

Drivers are broadcasting their threats in advance to let you know they do not plan to be a victim.
