Rep. Cate runs for Senate #6

Oregon State Representative Jami Cate is running for Oregon Senate District 6.   The seat incumbent is State Senator Cedric Hayden, who is exiting as required by the new ballot measure 113 law forcing lawmakers to limit their time in office if they engage in a certain amount of walk-out protest during Legislative Session (see 2023 walk-out).

Representative Cate plans to run on fighting wildfires, boosting rural Oregon, protecting the unborn, fiscal responsibility and safeguarding liberty.
