Suspected arson hits councilor home. (would be 4th PDX official)

Portland City Councilor Candace Avalos had a fire start at her home and garage and is being investigated as potential arson.

Previously:

• In 2024, City commissioner Rene Gonzalez vehicle was set on fire just outside his home.
• In 2020, then Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler had his apartment complex set afire in an attempted arson.
• In 2020, then Portland City Councilor Dan Ryan had flares set at his doorstep in a protest.
