12/20 is last day to put gas tax petition in mail

If you have petitions with signatures on them, please put in mail by Saturday December 20th — no later.

The early signature turn-in on the 15th has started the signature verification process by the Elections Office, it has not ended the signature collection process.  Those petitions must be mailed ASAP to give the campaign enough time to process them.
