Portland is over-run with super-predators.

• Portland’s Ali Quraishi raped, sodomized and sexual assaulted nine different women.
• Brian Lankford has been arrested 220 times.
• Barry Trennel Sanders charged with 1,000 store theft incidents.
• Aubrey Ashton Edwards was arrested for arson twice in the same day.

There is a Portland petition to stop this record-breaking crime wave by requiring Portland to restore police levels.

Initiative petition (#1PDX2026) restores defunded Portland Police by adding 400 new officers.

This will not only clean up our streets but it will save lives!

It is funded by dedicating 25% of the existing surcharge on corporate retailers (Clean Energy Surcharge fund). The tax was projected to raise $50 million a year – it now raises $200 million a year. That’s a $150 million tax surplus. By using existing tax surplus funds there’s no need to raise taxes.

• Reduce crime and disorder

Deadline to return petitions by mail is June 23rd, but we need people to return them immediately so we have enough time to process them and fix errors.

Only Portland voters can sign.

The Taxpayers Association is sending out 10-line petitions of the Fully Fund Portland Police to Portland voters.
