A reporter interviewed a German visitor, named Kraus, who came to America for the World Cup games. During his stay he found himself stranded after a game and complete strangers gave him a ride to his hotel.

“I’ve FALLEN IN LOVE with this country. This was so emotional. I even cried in the stadium.”

“I LOVE USA…I had tears in my eyes.”

“To be honest, I was a bit scared or had a fear to travel to the United States. News about shootings and criminals and that the country’s not safe. Americans are not rude. Germans are not rude. If we are together, we can achieve great things.”

Even though Germany was eliminated from the competition, Kraus decided to extend his stay in America because he loved it so much.
