by NW Spotlight

Rep. Andy Olson (R-Albany) is the new Oregon House Republican Leader, and Rep. Mike McLane (R-Powell Butte) is the new Deputy House Republican Leader. Rep. Tim Freeman (R-Roseburg) remains the House Republican Whip.

The Oregon House Republican Caucus met today in Salem and made the two changes in leadership. One of the changes was necessary due to Rep. Kevin Cameron (R-Salem) announcing today that he was leaving his leadership position as House Republican Leader to be able to focus on his family and small business. The other leadership positon, Deputy House Republican Leader, was vacated by Rep. Matt Wingard in June.

Rep. Andy Olson also remains the Co-Speaker Pro Tempore of the Oregon House.
