“I was pleased to learn today that we will be able to continue to fund important priorities like providing schools and healthcare for our children; and maintaining our prisons to keep Oregonians safe. “Today is a good day made possible because beginning in the 2007 session and continuing in February, Democrats and Republicans have worked together to chart a responsible fiscal course — a course that will allow us to continue to avoid economic storms.”
