(Hillsboro, OR) Bruce Starr’s campaign for Labor Commissioner adds the endorsements of various central Oregon community leaders. Commissioner John Hatfield and Commissioner Wayne Fording both met with and endorse Sen. Starr. These endorsements are added to the growing list of County Commissioners from all over the state to endorse his campaign.
Rick Allen, who has served as both Mayor of Madras and former County Commissioner, has also endorsed Sen. Starr. “Bruce understand the difficulties that cities and counties are having in this current economic environment,” said Allen. “He has been a good friend of local government on many issues during his service in the Oregon Legislature and I am excited to see his leadership expand to statewide office.”
Starr said he is privileged and excited to have the support of central Oregon leaders saying, “Rick Allen has been a great leader in central Oregon, along with both County Commissioners, and I am proud to have their support. I believe they see in me what many central Oregonians want and need from their next Labor Commissioner, and that is someone who is focused on creating jobs.”
