Petraeus resigns as CIA Director due to affair

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that General David H. Petraeus has resigned as the CIA Director. In his resignation letter, Petraeus wrote “After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair.”

Fox News reports that “Petraeus’ wife, Holly, also works in the Obama administration, for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.”
