Cheers to Oregon Beer Industry, followed by Mayor mishap

By Guest Opinion,

And now for a more “normal” Mayor Sam Adams story. The Mayor was celebrating the Oregon Brewers Festival by being honored to be the first to hammer the tap into the keg…and the mallet broke. In addition to the small mishap, the video announcer does a good job of reminding everyone that Oregon is one of the independent brew capitals in the world. Our beer industry is strong, growing and tasty.

Adams seems to be having a lot of problems with what he’s chosen to tap lately…

LOL! Brilliant. That mallet knew he was a failure.

Hmmm…. maybe the brewery was right to sue the mayor after all…

But what about the beer tax. We need it. Please.
