Measure 26-156 in Portland is bringing to light the long history of water rate abuse in Portland — must be among the worst water misuse in the nation. Portland Water rates have risen 160.8% since 2000 and much of that fund has gone for government waste pet projects. This radio ad for Measure 26-156 spells it all out in hopes of getting voters to approve  Measure 26-156 to create an independent and elected water board to help stop the water rate abuse.
