Online poll: Ashland’s 5% pot tax

marijuana-plantThe City of Ashland just passed a 5% medical marijuana tax.  This 5% authorization was designed to better help regulate local pot dispensaries.  Critics say this is an unneeded tax on a medical product.  What do you believe?

    Californicated beyond rehab, sales tax slappy Ashland witty fathers think if renamed “Stashland” – none would mind the increased tariff for going potty there.

    Marijuana legalization efforts started with the notion of selling it and taxing it the same way we do alcohol I support that. Let the tax be the traditional 105%.. Enough of this crap, lets get out of the prohibition business. Sell it like booze, tax it the same and call it good.

    If anyone pops up with some BS about poor people not being able to afford the 105% tax, shoot em.
