Salem, OR – Promote Oregon Leadership PAC Executive Director David Huguenel issued the following statement regarding the open seat in House District 22:

“While we know that liberal special interest groups will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in 2016 hoping to hold onto House District 22, Teresa Alonso Leon will have a difficult time separating herself from a Democratic Party that has seen a governor resign in disgrace, is responsible for one of the worst education systems in the country, and supports the largest tax increase in state history.

“Voters in House District 22 understand that our state desperately needs new leadership and they’ll be ready to deliver that message to Oregon’s majority party next November.”
