Special Guest Speaker for June, Mr Jim Huffman, the Republican nominee for the Senate seat held by the heretofore interminable Ron Wyden. Intellectually libertarian, Huffman is a 35-year distinguished law teacher and a13-year dean of Lewis & Clark College. He is admired by many for his columns (which often appear in the Oregonian) and essays on the virtues of free markets and limited government. Jim is mounting a serious campaign against the well entrenched Wyden, who has been in Congress since 1980! When you hear Jim Huffman at the meeting, you will realize that if the election could be based on I.Q. points, Wyden would not be hit with a landslide … but a Tsunami !
