‘Antifa’ candidate almost ties Portland Mayor race

Sarah Iannarone’s campaign issued a poll showing 33% support incumbent Ted Wheeler, 32% Sarah Iannarone and 35% undecided in the upcoming Portland Mayoral Race according to the Portland Tribune.

Sarah Iannarone is most notable for tweeting “I am Antifa” and also saying “If they’re going to call me ‘Antifa Mayor,’ then I might as well fight fascism.” Iannarone is a frequent defender of Antifa and their tactics.   Sarah successfully beat nearly two dozen of other Portland candidate challengers inthe May Primary and forced a run-off.

These leaves Portlanders a choice for Mayor among two extreme liberals.
