Gov. limits private gatherings to 10. Your thoughts?

Oregon Governor Kate Brown has announced a ban on private gathering of 10 or more people in their homes as a step to fight the increase in COVID-19 cases as the state hit a record 400+ cases last week.  Brown’s rule also requires large gatherings outdoors to require a mask.

OPB reports that this could possibly include fines (although unlikely);

Running afoul of Brown’s executive order can come with a potential maximum penalty of 30 days in jail and a $1,250 fine, but the governor has said repeatedly she would not ask police officers to enforce the rules. Instead, state agencies have been taking a lead in seeking to ensure businesses are requiring masks to be worn on their premises.
