President Biden announced nationwide vaccine mandate for all businesses with over 100 employees which would apply to nearly 1,000 Oregon businesses.  A lawyer and former Justice Department official noted “As announced, it applies to all employees, even those who work at home, as millions have done during the pandemic.”  Why should vaccine mandate apply to people who are working at home?

At the same time, Oregon State Senator Kim Thatcher discovered an Oregon student who was required to show proof of vaccination to enroll for online classes at a law school program at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.   Thatcher said, “The Missouri program is remote and online, yet this student is must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or face termination by September 27, regardless of the student’s $32,000 financial investment. The student has contacted the Missouri Attorney General without success.”

What is the scientific rationale for forcing at-home workers and students to get vaccinated or lose their job or educational investment?
