Some Portland schools close, UO may be next

• Three Portland High schools have closed due to Ominicron.  One school saw 40% absentee from teachers due to calling in sick.

• The employee union is pressing to close UofO classes and press towards more online classes.

• Seven colleges now require booster shots for students (University of Portland, University of Oregon, Oregon State University,Southern Oregon University, Lewis & Clark College,Pacific University and Willamette University ,

• More than 2,000 schools have closed nationwide due to virus concerns.
