Sen. Bernie Sanders Visits Oregon in Support of Tina Kotek and Others

Eugene, Oregon – United States Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders will be visiting Oregon today in support of Democrat gubernatorial candidate Tina Kotek along with several other liberal candidates.

His appearance will be made at a rally at the University of Oregon with Senator Jeff Merkley, Senator Ron Wyden, State Representative Peter DeFazi, Commissioner Val Hoyle, who is running for Congress along with Tina Kotek.

Chairman Justin Hwang had the following statement:

“Senator Bernie Sanders represents everything that is wrong about the radical left’s platform. His policies are dangerous and reckless, and as we’ve seen in Oregon, further contribute to the instability our country is facing. The detrimental effects of such radical policies in Oregon under Kate Brown and Tina Kotek’s leadership are no different. That’s why we’re working hard to stop radicals like Sanders, Brown, and Kotek from dictating our way of life and destroying opportunities for Oregon families. Ending the tyranny of the left starts with electing commonsense Republican leaders this fall!”
