Strike may force school day up to Dec. 22

KATU reports that one way for the school to make up for lost school days from the 13-lost day Portland strike (so far) is to junk Christmas break and keep school going all the way up to December 22.

The other idea has been to add 15-minutes to each school day for the rest of the year as a cheater way to make up for lost school days.

Teachers on strike can claim their free beer from supporting businesses.

Over 40,000 students are in week three of lost schooling because of the strike.
