Portland Police conducted a major crime ring bust at one home which led authorities to a tiny home where even more guns and drugs were discovered.  Tiny homes are famous in Portland as a solution to help the homeless, now they appear to be storage units for drugs and guns.

Portland Police report “A yearlong investigation culminated in the seizure of multiple guns, drugs, and stolen vehicles. Additionally, officers arrested a number of people including a mother and son.Early this year, the East Precinct Neighborhood Response Team (NRT) received numerous complaints about drugs being sold out of a home in the 14100 block of Northeast Halsey Street. On June 5, 2023, East NRT, with the help of several of PPB’s specialized teams, executed a search warrant at the home in question. Officers seized 19 firearms, large quantities of ammunition, body armor, methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, a stolen vehicle, and more than $10,000 in cash… Officers continued to investigate and on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, with the help of federal partners, officers executed search warrants at a home in the 1800 block of Northeast 66th Avenue, nearby storage units, and a tiny home in the area of Southeast 30th Avenue and Southeast Steele Street. Law enforcement personnel seized 12 firearms, methamphetamine, one bag of unknown white pills, one bag of an unknown white powder, and two stolen vehicles.”
