Sen. Golden ends Treasurer run, Monihan exits SD 27

One week after announcing a run for Oregon State Tereasurer, State Senator Jeff Golden has now backed out.  The two leading candidates are State Senator Elizabeth Steiner and former Lake Oswego Councilor Jeff Gudman.

In other news, Republican candidate Shannon Monihan, the favored choice to replace State Senator Tim Knopp in Senate District 27, has been disqualifed according the Bend Bulletin
