Goodwin Senate lawsuit fails, 1 Prez in Voter Pamphlet, More…

By Oregon Campaign Watch,

– Lawsuit Against Representative Goodwin (Oregon State Senate candidate) Dropped. The Christien Goodwin for State Senate campaign issued this statement,“Plaintiffs filed to dismiss what was left of their case against Representative Christine Goodwin (R-Canyonville). This action comes just one day after withdrawing half of their lawsuit, admitting it violated the Oregon Constitution. This losing campaign strategy is nothing new; it has been most recently deployed by President Biden against Former President Trump. “I have said from the beginning this lawsuit was a political stunt to help a candidate who doesn’t think he can beat me in a fair fight,” said Representative Goodwin. “I’m glad Southern Oregon voters will be given the choice to elect me to represent them in the Senate as they already have in the House.”

– Only 1 Presidential candidate will be seen in Oregon Voters Pamphlet.  Only candidate Joe Biden will have an actual statement in the Oregon Voters Pamphlet.   Trump declined (but will be on ballot).  Others candidates declined.

Jamie McLeod-Skinner (Congress #5 candidate) rakes in endorsements over 7-days: Lately in just seven days she announced: Former State Senator Jane Cease, former State Representative Jan Lee, former State Representative Judy Stiegler, West Linn City Councilor Leo Groner, Former Albany Councilor Stacey Batholomew, Oregon Trail Democrats Brad Porterfield, former Latino Community Association Executive Director,Paige Hook, former Stayton City Council Member— Don’t count this race out.
