Chart: Debt interest outpaces military

By Taxpayers Association of Oregon Foundation,

Spending on the national debt has now exceeded spending on the military defense budget.

This comes as attacks on U.S. forces has been the greatest in about a decade.

Recently, various Iran backed-proxies have fired missiles and rockets on U.S. stations after the October 7th attack on Israel.  This does not include the attacks on U.S. warships in the Red Sea.

Debt as % of GDP is higher than WWII era.
