US Bank exits their own US Bancorp tower (flees to Gresham)

Portland’s famous Big Pink corporate building, US Bancorp, is losing its flagship company U.S. Bank for which it is named after.   Many of the employees are re-locating across city limits to neighboring Gresham where their business/property/gas and other taxes will drop significantly in cost.

The building this year received a robot security guard to help fight crime.  The building was hit with vandalism and arson during the multi-year Portland riots.

Portland was rated the #1 office vacancy city in the nation.
