Yes on Measure 115: Give impeachment power to the people

The Taxpayers Association of Oregon urges a YES vote on Measure 115 Oregon is the only state in the nation that doesn’t have an impeachment process for our statewide officials.

It has only been about a dozen years since we had our Governor, John Kitzhaber, resign in scandal (2015) and our Secretary of State, Shemia Fagan, resign in scandal (2023). What if they refused to resign and continued to engage in fraud and abuse? Right now the Attorney General is under a cloud of scandal due to how she botched the $500,000 FTX donation. Who will hold the Attorney General accountable?

Oregonians deserve a way to hold corrupt elected officials accountable. Measure 115 allows our elected representatives to do just that.
