SISTERS, Ore. – The Oregon Senate Republican Caucus is proud to announce that Senate Republican Leader Daniel Bonham (R-The Dalles) was re-elected by his peers late last week to serve as Leader for the upcoming legislative session. Under Leader Bonham’s guidance, the Caucus remains committed to building a safer, stronger, and more affordable Oregon for all.

“I’m deeply honored by the trust my colleagues have placed in me to continue serving as their Leader,” said Leader Bonham. “Our Caucus is united in its commitment to tackling rising costs, addressing crime and homelessness, improving education, and restoring accountability in state government. Together, we will continue to stand up for families, small businesses, and rural communities to make Oregon a better place to live and work.”

The Senate Republican Caucus’s leadership team remains unchanged:

• Republican Leader: Daniel Bonham (R-The Dalles)
• Deputy Leader: David Brock Smith (R-Port Orford)
• Deputy Leader: Cedric Hayden (R-Fall Creek)
• Deputy Leader: Dick Anderson (R-Lincoln City)
• Whip: Suzanne Weber (R-Tillamook)

“Keeping the same leadership team shows how united we are as a caucus,” said Deputy Leader David Brock Smith (R-Port Orford). “This stability reflects our shared commitment to addressing the issues that Oregonians care about most—like safety, affordability, and accountability. It’s clear that voters are with us on these priorities, and we’re ready to keep fighting for them.”
