With 19 mayor candidates to run against, how do you make your lawn signs stand out?

Well, the underdog winner of Portland’s Mayor, Keith Wilson, put the very short-and-bold line “Real Change” on his lawn signs.

Voters in Portland were tired of candidates talking about the problems, and then comes along Keith Wilson who is sending signs of big change ahead.  It works.

Fiscal conservative candidates in Oregon should pay attention to these winning examples.

Here is what we previously said about underdog winner, Keith Wilson on his winning tactics:

“While almost every one of the 19 Portland mayor candidates talked about homlessness, Wilson stood out with this bold pitch to “End unsheltered homelessness in Portland”. Wow! It followed his high profile campaign pledge to end homelessness in a single year. Keith Wilson’s master plan is to continually sell the homeless into moving in a new homes until they give in (no joke) Everyone’s favorite candidate, Rene Gonzales, ran on tough love by banning encampments. This was popular. Yet, Wilson offered the same result but with no sacrifice, no police action and no one being inconvenienced. As a CEO he also had the funds to reach people on this grand deal. As he touted his connection with the Obama administration, he came across as credible in a way most of the other 19 candidates did not.So, Portlanders took a massive bet that this man can solve all their homeless problems in a single year. Wilson’s bold messaging made this happen.Pay attention.”
