Lars Larson: Hillsboro school war on Christmas

By Lars Larson
NW and national radio host,

Hillsboro schools decided that to be more “inclusive” they had to exclude Christmas specifically. This government agency pushed workers to include other religious celebrations.

The only specifically excluded religious faith is the one held by a majority of Americans, and, by the way, the founders of these United States.

Workers heard about the ban on a Christmas tree for the Hillsboro bus barn break room and quickly put one up.

I can’t fault them for that.

Then word came down from Transportation Czar Carol Hatfield: tear down the Christmas Tree. I’ll quote her bizarre, rambling memo to workers “…decorate, but nothing directly “Christmas specific”: let’s start with no tree.”

Ms Hatfield, who seems unfamiliar with The Constitution, then ordered her workers “…make the focus more about…other cultural celebrations like Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Posadas Navidenas and Bodhi day.”

Message to workers…symbols of the Christian holiday are forbidden but be sure to mark the holidays of minority religions.

Hatfield closes by slamming her own workers, asking, quote “Is this really about a Christmas tree or is it about unconscious bias and privilege?”

Parents, ask yourself, if this is the kind of indoctrination the bus drivers get, what do you suppose they’ll do to your children?
