Homeless set fire to each others tents in arson wars

Oregon independent journalist and homeless advocate reports on how homeless will set fire to other homeless tents as part of revenge and ongoing disputes.   Nearly half of all fire calls in Portland are related to the homeless.

A homeless person’s tent, exploding, throwing us back a few feet. This particular fire we were told was arson which is very common. Two homeless people I had interviewed in the last few years died at the hands of arson. Their tent was deliberately caught on fire and they burned. pic.twitter.com/cgCWrHPr70
