National Media: Oregon’s #1 building 80% value drop

The Wall Street Journal chronicled the stunning fall of Oregon largest office building — The Big Pink.

The building was named the US Bank Tower until U.S. Bank itself moved out to Gresham.   Tow other big firms also recently moved out.

The Big Pink value has shrunk from around $320 million to $70 million today — all in just a few years.

Now look at the third largest office building in Portland, Montgomery Park.  It went under a big renovation and found itself full of vacancy and $149 million in debt.

This whole sudden reversal is a direct consequence of total liberal control of defunding police and raising taxes sky high.

Just in time for this important sale — Portland is working on raising Uber taxes, Parking meter fees, a $1.8 property tax bond, and a massive income/business tax by extending the Homeless services tax.
