Serial blowtorch burglar loots small shops

This fantastic story from KOIN-TV shows how it is hard to ward off criminals when they bring big weapons to break down doors.  This suspect is believed to have broken into scores of local small businesses using this device.  Active policing may have nabbed the suspect — which is a testament to a strong police force.  (read more)

This hard-driving thievery is similar to last week’s ATM theft by a tractor steam-shovel (which also was stolen).
