Of 2894 Capitol testimonies, 93% against gas tax

We sampled 148 testimonies out of 2894 online testimonies over the publci hearing on Governor Kotek’s gax tax/wage tax transportation package and found that 93% were in opposition to the tax package. Nearly all of the sampled support testimonies in favor of the gas tax came from employees of the Oregon Department of Transportation.

In no way does the publci support this massive increase in gas taxes, wage taxes, DMV fees and more.
