GOP lawmaker who OK’d gas tax, switches party

Oregon Republican State Representative Cyrus Javadi voted for Governor Kotek’s billion dollar gas tax/wage tax bill this month.   With no vote to spare on teh gas tax, his vote was the deciding vote.  After the vote he announced that he is switching parties to register as a Democrat.   OPB reports on his previous controversies.
