By our estimate, around two hundred people rallied during the afternoon at the Oregon State Capital last Saturday.  The event was hosted by Salem’s River Church which has hosted public rallies and worship events around Oregon.

For comparison, there were more people at this Charlie Kirk Salem rally than people who showed up to the ICE protests (which was a nationally talked about news event).  This Capitol rally was special and you could feel it.

The Oregon chapter of Turning Point had their representative who spoke by giving a powerful testimony on how he turned his life around with God and began to be a change-agent who dedicated his life to helping others.  River Church pastor, Lew Wootan, shared on how we all need to put aside the things that divide us (that ultimately do not matter) because those are the things are blocking us from true unity.  State Representative Ed Deihl shared on Governor Kotek is blocking the will of voters by not letting them vote on the massive gas tax she helped pass.  Rep. Deihl encouraged people to go to Notaxor.com when the petition to stop the gas tax is ready.
