The Oregon Right to Vote on the Gas Tax PAC is the official Political Action Committee formed to start the referendum petition drive on a petition giving voters the right to vote on the $4.3 billion Oregon gas tax/wage tax bill and they have launched their website StopTheGasTax.com to educate and mobilize action against the new tax.

The Three Chief petitioners of the Gas Tax referendum campaign are: Bruce Starr, Oregon State Senator and Senate Republican Leader, Ed Diehl, Oregon State Representative and Jason Williams, Executive Director & Founder, Taxpayers Association of Oregon

Remember, the petition drive CANNOT START UNTIL KOTEK SIGNS THE BILL.  Unfortunately, Kotek can delay signing for several more weeks.

— Make a donation here!  PAC donations up to $50 per individual, or $100 per couple, are eligible for the Oregon Political Tax Credit and can receive 100% back on your Oregon taxes. A tax credit is better than a deduction! With a tax credit you can get 100% of your donation back. There is no limit to what you can choose to donate, but the Oregon Political Tax Credit only applies to the first $100 per couple or $50 per individual. If you do not use the Tax Credit you will lose it for this year.
