AG, county sue Trump to return helicopter

Oregon’s state attorney general, along with Lincoln County, is taking legal action against the Trump administration to reclaim a U.S. Coast Guard rescue helicopter. This helicopter was recently relocated from the Newport Air Facility to the U.S. Coast Guard Base in North Bend, roughly 70 miles to the south. In response, the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners has unanimously voted to allow the county to join the lawsuit regarding the helicopter’s transfer. Read more here.
