After the news of the two National Guard soldiers gunned down in Washington D.C., it is time to address threats in Oregon against Federal agents which remain open and routine among Portland protestors.  This week, one of the Portland ICE protestors John Paul Cupp is under trial for violent threats to local Federal agents. See Brandi Kruse’s video.

The Justice Department charges on Cupp, “According to court documents, on October 14, 2025, Cupp began yelling insults at law enforcement officers as they were approaching a crowd. Cupp threatened to kill law enforcement officers and sexually assault their wives. On November 3, 2025, Cupp posted a video online reiterating the same threats to federal agents and their wives. On November 13, 2025, Cupp continued posting violent threats online to officers and their family. Cupp is a prolific producer of online content and regularly posts aggressive rhetoric, calls for war against the United States, antisemitic threats, and threats of violence.”

Around the Portland Federal ICE building there are numerous threats of violence and calls to murder law enforcement officers.

Threats against law enforcement helicopters became so bad that hospital helicopters had to be diverted out of the area.

Instead of condemnation, Oregon politicians are playing down the violence.

The attacks on our Federal employees coming from Oregon must be stopped.

The Taxpayers Association of Oregon calls upon Oregon Governor Tina Kotek and Portland Kieth Wilson to condemn the political violence on full display in Oregon.
