Politician who fled country still missing, trial halts

Clackamas County Commissioner Melissa Fireside has fled the country following felony charges of theft involving a senior citizen.  It is suspected that she used a fake ID to fly to Mexico and then Amsterdam. Six weeks later she remains still at large.  Fireside has been replaced as County Commissioner.  The trial would have started this month.
