According to KATU-2 News, The State of Oregon has engaged in 51 lawsuits against the Trump administration, costing taxpayers over three million dollars in legal fees.

The biggest suit ($850,000) has been the legal fight to keep National Guard troops from being used to stop rioting at the Portland ICE building.

Although, the case for the Oregon lawsuits explain their actions by saying that suing Trump has prevented cuts in Federal programs to Oregon.  With a Federal deficit of $38 trillion, we question how our country can ever balance its budget if every states sues against every budget cut.
