Under SJR 201, which was just introduced in the February Special Session, a new law would greatly reduce the Kicker Income tax refunds.  A portion of the refund would go to the education/forest department, another to the State Government, and a final portion to taxpayers.  A KATU-2 online poll showed that viewers by 84% reject the idea.   Online polls are unscientific, but they do capture the energy behind an idea, and the energy is against people having their Kicker Income Tax raided.
